Blue Knights® Australia
Law Enforcement Motorcycle Club
Est. 1978
Membership
All of our members understand the pressures and nature of our work and our club offers a great escape.
We understand that as a motorcyclist, you may find it difficult to find other motorcycling enthusiasts if your own friends do not have motorcycles for you to ride with. This then presents you the dilemma of joining an unknown club or group whereby the members in those groups by witnessing their actions or associations, may cause you a predicament by virtue of your occupation. We recognise that issue, and in our club you will find like minded individuals, upholding the same morals and values that you recognise and associate with.

The rewards of being a member of the Blue Knights® are:
• instant friendship, being treated like family and sharing the common bond of law enforcement;
• enjoying good company and sharing the love of motorcycles;
• donating to children’s and other charities;
• family members are welcomed as part of the Blue Knights® family;
• receiving birthday and get well wishes from people you’ve never met;
• being able to visit, ride and stay with fellow members in countries all over the world.
We also do social day-rides and weekend rides that are family oriented where non-members, partners and kids can join in (by bike or car). We participate with other clubs' events but we ride as Blue Knights® as part of their event.
A significant benefit of being in the Blue Knights® family is the friendship and camaraderie you get from like minded persons. Members from all states and countries are greeted with warm welcomes and offers of food and accommodation when they travel. These non-material benefits are what set apart the Blue Knights from other clubs.
We ride all brands and types of bike: BMWs, Ducatis, Harley-Davidsons, Hondas, Indians, Kawasakis, Suzukis, Triumphs, Victorys, Yamahas, cruisers, touring, three-wheelers and sport bikes. You name it, we ride it! Law enforcement camaraderie is far more important than what you choose to ride.
There is a wealth of information sharing such as mechanical, electrical, accessories, manufacturer recalls, parts, modifications and clothing. We are also a very fraternal organisation and support each other as a family through financial, material and friendship support, and that carries over into our international organisation. Some of the Australian Blue Knights® who have travelled overseas visited fellow members all across the world and never put their hand in their pocket for accommodation, and there was often a bike available to ride.
We look forward to welcoming you and your family to our family!

Appearance and values
The Blue Knights® are in no way associated with or affiliated with any Outlaw Motor Cycle Gang.

We're the good guys!

As opposed to OMCGs who refer to themselves as one-percenters, 99% of motorcycle riders are law abiding citizens.
We are the 99%!
The Blue Knights® is a non-profit fraternal organisation consisting of active and retired men and women in the various Law Enforcement agencies who enjoy riding motorcycles and who meet the membership criteria.

The Blue Knights® are resolutely against any criminal behaviour and the majority of members are employed in upholding the laws of the country they represent. Our club bylaws require all members to be in "Good Standing" to retain membership. Any upheld Court conviction will result in an investigation by the Club Executive and potential expulsion from the club.

We recognise that within Australia, the wearing of backpatches is normally associated by the general public as being part of an Outlaw Motor Cycle Gang. We take great effort to distance ourselves from that perception and you will note from our many ride photos that we look just like normal touring motorcyclists. It is for this reason that Blue Knights® Australia have chosen to have a one piece backpatch as opposed to the 3 piece 'rocker' style backpatch commonly attributed to OMCGs.
