Ride for Justice
All funds raised from the Ride for Justice go to help the establishment and continued support of Grace's Place, a unique place of healing and restoration for children affected by homicide. The ride run through the Homicide Victims' Support Group has been going strong since 2010.
Grace’s Place, the world’s first residential trauma recovery facility for children impacted by homicide, was officially opened in a ceremony in Sydney’s west in November 2022.
The facility is named in honour of the late Grace Lynch, mother of Anita Cobby who along with her husband Gary, provided tireless support to families of homicide having experienced it themselves with their daughter Anita's murder in 1986.
Grace's Place includes residential and counselling facilities. It is also the new Head Office of the Homicide Victims Support Group (Aust) Inc.
Grace’s Place is a safe place of healing, providing children and their families access to accommodation, counselling and therapeutic programs.
