All funds raised will go to help the establishment of Grace's Place, a unique place of healing and restoration for children affected by homicide.
The Centre will be named in honour of Grace Lynch, mother of Anita Cobby and will include residential and counselling facilities. It will also be the new Head Office of the Homicide Victims Support Group (Aust) Inc.
UPDATE NOVEMBER 2022
Grace’s Place, the world’s first residential trauma recovery facility for children impacted by homicide, has been officially opened in a ceremony in Sydney’s west.
The facility is named in honour of the late Grace Lynch, who along with her husband Gary, provided tireless support to families of homicide having experienced it themselves with their daughter Anita's murder in 1986.
Grace’s Place will be a safe place of healing, providing children and their families access to accommodation, counselling and therapeutic programs. The facility will be fully operational and open to children early next year.
